Laura is a barrister, mediator and collaborative practitioner at 29 Bedford Row Chambers. She advises on all aspects of family law with a particular focus on financial matters arising out of the breakdown of relationships, whether they are relationships of marriage, cohabitation or civil partnership. Laura also has expertise drafting pre- and post-nuptial agreements.

Laura was one of the first barristers to train as Collaborative Counsel. She has been involved in a number of collaborative cases assisting on both legal and practical issues. She has experience of assisting the clients and their collaborative solicitors to work towards a solution in both a time efficient and cost effective manner.

Laura is a member of the Family Law Bar Association and a member of Resolution. She is the barrister representative on the Resolution Dispute Resolution Committee. She regularly lectures on all aspects of family law and is a co-author of Cohabitation and Trusts of Land dealing with cohabitation cases.  Chambers & Partners 2015 says of Laura, “She gives very sensible advice, and is not afraid to pack a punch when she needs to.”
