Duncan is a family law barrister, arbitrator and collaborative practitioner at QEB. His practice comprises all aspects of family law, particularly financial provision and private law children work. He represents high-net-worth individuals, and is used to dealing with complexities arising from trusts, business accounts, taxation and international disputes. He has specialist experience in resolving family arrangements amongst those who work in the media, entertainment, legal and financial professions.

Duncan qualified as a collaborative lawyer with Resolution in January 2009 and as a Family Law Arbitrator in 2012.  He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010.  He also conducts private FDRs.

He is recommended as a leading junior in Chambers and Partners 2015, which calls him a ‘Respected family law practitioner who deals with very complex matrimonial finance proceedings and children law matters. Many of his cases involve jurisdictional concerns and contact disputes. “He is excellent on detail, and his paperwork is really good.”’
